Today people have become extremely desensitized to most advertising. As soon as some picks up on that they are being advertised to, they immediately tune it out. It’s become a necessary reflex of the digital age. However, we believe that if people see a little bit of themselves in your brand they will be willing to share with you and listen to what you have to say.
We cringe at advertising. But we love brands. Does that even make sense? Well… no, not really. It is just that we think most advertising has been designed to shout at people until they hopefully pay attention. We prefer to start compelling conversations between brands and their consumers. Provide answers to question and useful information. Engage customers on their own terms, when it is relevant. Encourage them to share and offer them rewarding exchanges of information. Then we would like to gauge whether that conversation made the brand, the publisher and the customer happy. And if it did not, we will figure out how to do it better next time.
